  • Where does the club meet?
    • Meetings are usually held at Stambaugh Ness, 2600 Eastern Blvd, York PA 17402. On the second floor conference room.

  • When does the club meet?
    • Meetings are held, the First, Third and Fifth Thursdays of the month (if there is a 5th Thursday)
    • We meet from 12:00pm to 1:15pm. We ask that all members and guests arrive 15 minutes early.
    • Lunch is provided free to members and guests.
  • What does it cost for members?
    • Membership dues vary from club to club.
    • Free for all guests and we welcome encourage guests to bring friends and co-workers to check out the meeting.
  • What else does the club provide?
    • The club provides a friendly atmosphere to develop and improve presentation skills.
    • Did we mentioned a lunch is provided free of charge for our guests.
  • What does the meeting involve?
    • A regular meeting consists of three parts: Table Topics, where Toastmasters and guests practice extemporaneous speaking; Speeches, and Evaluations, where the speeches from the meeting are evaluated so the speakers can learn what to improve and what they did well.
  • Will I be required to speak in front of everyone at a meeting if I’m attending as a guest?
    • We don’t “require” guests to speak in front of everyone. However, we do ask guests if they would like to participate either through answering a Table Topics question or by sharing their comments at the end of the meeting. If you’d prefer not to, please let the President or Toastmaster of the Day know.
  • Is there a cost to attend meetings?
    • Guests can attend meetings at no cost. If you decide to join Toastmasters, we do have membership dues.
  • I don’t know anyone in the club. Can I still attend as a guest and join?
    • Yes! All guests are welcome to attend meetings and join the club.
